5、h my workmates this weekend. Show two pictures on the screen and say, “ Look at the two pictures. This is our school and this is Yingfeng Park. We will get together at school, and then we’ll take a car to get there. Do you know the distance between them and the time we need to get there? S: No. T

9、nts. Step 3 Self-study 1. Show the conversation in 2e, and play the recoding to teach and correct their pronunciation. Then ask students to read by themselves and try to understand the sentences as many as they can. 2. Check their understanding by an exercise and Score their answers. Step 4

10、 Group work 1. Ask students to work in groups to find out the important and difficult points and write them on their small blackboards, and then discuss and analyze them with group members. 2. Have a student from each group share their understanding to the class. Score their expression and the p

11、oints they found out. 3. Supplement some points students lost on the screen. Step 5 Pair work 1. Ask students to work in pairs to role-play the conversation. Check and help each other to read and understand the conversation. 2. Have students make new conversations in pairs, and then check a

12、 pair of students at random. Step 6 Grammar Focus 1. Have students read the sentences of Grammar Focus. Let them pay attention to the structure of”how” questions and general questions and how to answer them. Then have students read the sentences in groups. 2. Play a chain game to practice askin
