4、 discuss in groups and use the same way to solve the following sentences.巧用數(shù)學(xué)思維解定語從句【定義】定語從句是指在復(fù)合句中修飾或限制某一名詞或代詞的從句。 【推論1】被修飾或限制的名詞或代詞通常被稱為“先行詞”。 【推論2】引導(dǎo)定語從句的詞通常被稱為“關(guān)系詞”?！瓣P(guān)系詞”依其在定語從句中（不是主句）的功能，又分為“關(guān)系代詞” 和“關(guān)系副詞”兩種。 【推論3】“關(guān)系詞”具有三種功能：（1）引導(dǎo)一個(gè)定語從句（在從句開頭）；（2）指代或替代“先行詞”；（3）在定語從句中充當(dāng)成分。 【應(yīng)用】Rewrite the two se

My uncle used to work there. 【解析】如何把兩個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單句合并成一個(gè)含有定語從句的復(fù)合句呢？巧妙運(yùn)用數(shù)學(xué)思想來解決這一類題目,達(dá)到了化難為易的效果?？傮w解題思路為：分析 替換 移項(xiàng) 檢驗(yàn)。 1、【分析】觀察所給的兩個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單句，首先確定共同所指（即“先行詞”），其次確定主從句。 【例1】The girl co
6、mes from America.(主句) I spoke to her just now.（從句） 【例2】The factory makes colour TV sets. (主句) My uncle used to work there. （從句） 2、【替換】首先根據(jù)被替代詞的屬性以及其在從句中充當(dāng)?shù)某煞?，選擇適當(dāng)?shù)摹瓣P(guān)系詞”來替換從句中與主句所指相同的詞。其次“合并同類項(xiàng)”，即注意“關(guān)系詞”不能與被替代詞同時(shí)出現(xiàn)。 【例1】The girl comes from America.(主句) I spoke to her just now.（從句） whom 【例2】The factor

(主句) My uncle used to work there . （從句） where 3、【移項(xiàng)】首先確?！瓣P(guān)系詞”移到定語從句之首，其次確保定語從句部分移到“先行詞”之后。 【例1】The girl comes from America.(主句) whom I spoke to just now.（從句）/ to whom I spoke just now.（從句） 【例2】The factory makes colour TV sets. (主句) where my uncle used to work. （從句） 4、【檢驗(yàn)】重點(diǎn)檢查
8、“關(guān)系詞”使用是否準(zhǔn)確，被替代詞是否省略，句子是否雜糅，是否有必要使用非限制性定語從句等方面。 【錯(cuò)解】The girl whom / who I spoke to her just now comes from America.
