Step 1 Leading-in

1. Give a picture of some bread: Do I need any bread?
2. Give a picture of some fruit and drinks. ( To lead students to use I need some...)

A: Students in Sunshine Middle School plan to have a Christmas too.
1. Now, let’s look at this picture. Does Kitty need to buy any food for the party? ( To lead students to answer: Yes, she does. She needs to buy some food.) But, what happens?

4、other picture: Does Kitty have any money? ( To lead them to answer that she doesn’t have any money.)
3. Kitty needs to buy some food, but she doesn’t has any money. Let’s look at Millie and Daniel. They are talking about what to buy for the party. Can you use “some” or “any” to complete their conv
