1、GRAMMARAlways, usually, often, never 的用法 一、頻度副詞在句中的位置。 頻度副詞在句中習(xí)慣上位于be動詞、助動詞之后,行為動詞之前。 如: 1.She is often late for school. 她上學(xué)經(jīng)常遲到。 2.He usually goes to bed at about 12. 他通常(午夜)十二點(diǎn)鐘睡覺。 3.When do you usually get up in the morning? 早上你通常什么時(shí)候起床？ sometimes是個(gè)特殊的頻度副詞,既可以放在be動詞、助動詞之后,行為動詞之前,也可以放在句首,還可以放在句尾。
2、如: 1.I sometimes think that it is a great mistake. 我有時(shí)想這是一個(gè)大錯(cuò)。 2.Sometimes I help my mother in the house. 有時(shí)候我?guī)椭鷭寢屪黾覄?wù)。 often可以放在句中,也可放在句尾,習(xí)慣上不放在句首。 如: We have been there quite often. 我們經(jīng)常到那兒去。 這些頻度副詞的位置與句中謂語動詞有無助動詞有關(guān)。句中沒有助動詞時(shí),副詞置于動詞be之后,其它動詞之前。 二、表示頻度方面的區(qū)別。 always是頻度最大的詞,意為總是；永遠(yuǎn)。如: I shall always re
3、member my first day at school.我將永遠(yuǎn)記住我上學(xué)的第一天。 usually意為通常,即很少例外,頻度僅次于always。如: What do you usually have for breakfast?你通常早餐吃什么？ often意為經(jīng)常,在頻度上不如usually那么頻繁。 如: Li Ping often does his homework in the afternoon. 李平經(jīng)常在下午做作業(yè)。 sometimes意為有時(shí)候,頻度比often小,表示動作偶爾發(fā)生,間斷較大。 如: 1.I sometimes go to the library. 我有時(shí)
4、去圖書館。 2.Sometimes I read a book in the evening. 我有時(shí)在晚上看書。 三、頻度副詞與not連用時(shí),表示部分否定；對頻度副詞進(jìn)行提問時(shí),要用how often。如: 1.A great scholar is not always a very wise man. 大學(xué)者未必一定是極聰明的人。 2.We go to the cinema sometimes. (對劃線部分提問) How often do you go to the cinema? never adv. 從未；永不；決不 I have never been there. 我從未到過那里。
5、 He never has anything to do. 他一向無所事事。 Television has been popularized as never before. 電視已經(jīng)空前普及。 I never catch anything - not even old boots. 我從未釣到任何東西-連舊靴子也釣不著。 That will never do. 那決不行。 1.I go to the cinema.
