1、Unit 6 Now And ThenLesson 17 Interesting Animals 教材分析本課的教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)分為兩課時(shí)。第一課時(shí)在復(fù)習(xí)、學(xué)習(xí)身體部位名稱(chēng)（多為二級(jí)詞匯，主要為復(fù)習(xí)）的基礎(chǔ)上，側(cè)重對(duì)閱讀文本的理解，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過(guò)閱讀獲取動(dòng)物體貌的基本信息，獲取并整理這兩種動(dòng)物的特殊性。在閱讀活動(dòng)中，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生獲取關(guān)鍵信息和總結(jié)信息的閱讀策略，體驗(yàn)連詞and、or在簡(jiǎn)單句中，以及and、so、but在并列復(fù)合句中的用法，通過(guò)不斷內(nèi)化信息和語(yǔ)言，最后進(jìn)行基于閱讀文本信息的語(yǔ)言輸出活動(dòng)。第二課時(shí)在復(fù)習(xí)課文內(nèi)容和語(yǔ)言的基礎(chǔ)上，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生歸納總結(jié)本課的語(yǔ)法簡(jiǎn)單句和并列復(fù)合句，關(guān)注他們的基本結(jié)構(gòu)，理解

3、der, Multimedia 教學(xué)過(guò)程Step 1. Brainstorm T shows a picture of a giraffe and tells about its long neck. T asks Ss what animals they think are interesting. Step 2. Warm-up T shows some pictures of animals and asks Ss to name the body parts. If they dont know, T tells them the names of the body parts. Ss

4、 read the words after T. T shows pictures of a penguin and a giraffe. Ss tell their knowledge about two animals. (Ex. 1) For Example：Penguins have short legs. They walk very slowly.Step 3. Pre-reading1. Play the recording of the dialogue and ask the students to read aloud with the speaker. 2. Ss loo

5、k at the table, and guess which animal the children may choose. 3. Ss can write down their own guesses in the table.Step 4. Pre-readingT asks Ss to try to guess the answers to the following questions:Are penguins bird or fish?Penguins swim 15 / 25 / 35 miles an hour.Do giraffes spread their front le

6、gs to drink water?Can giraffes run for a long time? T helps Ss learn the word “spread”.Step 5. Reading.1. Ss read the text quickly and find the answers for the four questions. T calls back the answers from the class. T discusses with Ss about their understanding of the difficult sentence:They have t

Ss read the text carefully, and find the information about the body parts of the two animals to complete the table. (Ex. 2) T checks answers in class.
