Ask stude nts to talk about the picture on Page2.T: Where can you see the pictures and the brief introduction prob ably?(Newspaper / the Internet /Magazine )T: Yes, magazines like Crazy English /National Geography Who started ?talStudents activities:Learn the new vocabulary.(ancient,pyramid,review,wonder )Have a k about the picture using the words in Activity 1. Learn a bit about magazines.Think and tell the answers about the verbs they come up wit h.Step 2 Listening and vocabularyAim: Practise listening and get specific information.Check their understanding by making questions.Teacher s activities: Play the tape and check the words.Listen to the tape again. Make up possible questions according to the answers.
