How many zeros does her number have?教學方法Discuss, explaining,game , action, reading, help each other教學過程Class Opening and Review1.     Greeting.2.     Review1)  Review numbers up to ten thousand with the Numer Game or Write the Number.2)  Review how to say time with What Time Is It?Key Conceptszero, number, call_on the phone1.     Introduce1) The students should know the word number because they have seen it often in the previous levels. Write the numbers one to ten on the blackboard. Point to the numbers and say say “What are these? These are numbers”2)Add a zero before the number one. Say “This is a zero. Lets count! Zero, one, two”2.     Use the student book and audiotape.1)Note the phrase “phone number” and “phone book ” in the student book. The studetns know all the words individually. What do they think the phrases describe?2)Note some of the English idioms in this lesson and translate them where necessary. Ask questions such as :What do you say when you answer the phone?What do you say when you hang up the phone?Jenny wants to speak to Kim. What does she say?What is she answer?3.     Practice (group work 小組合作)1)Show the class how to act out being a phone . A student can pretend to be a phone by putting one arm over his or her head like a telephone receiver. To make the phone ring , the studetn makes a ringing noise. To answer the phone . studetns pick up the phones arm and pretend to talk Into it like a telephone receiver. To dial a number , studetns pretend to push buttons on the phones forehead. To hang up the phone.2) Divide the class into groups of six. Give each of the students a number to hold up .Drill the number with the question whats his her number?Key Concepts call on the phone1.     IntroduceRole-play calling students on the phone. Ask for two volunteers to be phones. One phone stays with you . The other phone picks students for you to call. When the other phone picks a student , he or she kneels beside the student with one arm over his or her head and rings when you give a signal.2.     Use the student book and audiotape. (group work 小組合作)1)Ask many questions such as :A.What is Stevens phone number? B.Who will play with Danny?2)Note , and translate where necessary, some of the new English idioms in the student book :Who is calling?_s not here.May I take a message?Thanks for calling!3.     Practice (group work 小組合作)Divide the class into small groups . Each group has two phones and makes up a dialogue about calling a friend or friends.
