Reading（While reading） 1.First reading: Work on 2b T：Today, I would like to teach you a reading skill: scanning. What does scanning mea

7、n? It means moving your eyes quickly down the page to find specific information. Find out the new words or expressions. Then try to look up each one in a dictionary and write down its meaning. At last, read after me. pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. 教學(xué)設(shè)計說明: 本環(huán)節(jié)首先是學(xué)習(xí)策略的指導(dǎo), 然后在老師的

8、指導(dǎo)下練習(xí)運用scanning這種方法來找出不認識的單詞，并通過查閱字典的方式找到其意思，并指導(dǎo)學(xué)生朗讀單詞，目的在于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自學(xué)能力和工具書使用能力。 2. Fast reading：Work on 2c T：Read the passage again. After each statement, choose/circle True, False or Don’t know. 教學(xué)設(shè)計說明：這一環(huán)節(jié)是閱讀中的信息判斷訓(xùn)練。讓學(xué)生學(xué)會從文章支持自己觀點的句子。同時，也是對學(xué)生閱讀理解能力的訓(xùn)練。 3. Careful reading: Work on 2d and 2

9、e T：Read the article again and answer the questions in 2d. You have to underline the sentences which show you the answers. Then, you have to put the sentences in 2e in the right order and tell me why. 教學(xué)設(shè)計說明：在第二遍閱讀解決了文章內(nèi)容的理解后，進行第三次閱讀，目的是要學(xué)生在基本熟悉文段的基礎(chǔ)上，找出所學(xué)信息回答問題，并學(xué)會按順序排列句子。培養(yǎng)學(xué)生在閱讀中抓取關(guān)鍵信息的能力，并提升其

10、邏輯思維能力。 4.Post reading T：Now, class, can you fill in the blanks according to your understanding of the passage? Use the words in the passage to complete the task. 教學(xué)設(shè)計說明: 這個環(huán)節(jié)對閱讀的材料進行復(fù)習(xí)鞏固。同時也是讓同學(xué)們進一步熟悉閱讀材 料，對閱讀里的重點短語和生詞進行復(fù)習(xí)。 III .After reading 1.T：Now, we have finished this passage, let m

Homework T：Expanding writing, Write down your experience of “between a rock and a hard place”.For example: If you can’t finish your math homework, what will you do?
