Step I 導(dǎo)入

1 復(fù)習(xí)前一課時(shí)所學(xué)內(nèi)容。教師說(shuō):We have already learnt something about different festivals around the world. Do you remember them? 向?qū)W生出示除萬(wàn)圣節(jié)以外的五個(gè)節(jié)日的圖片并問(wèn):What is this festival? How do people celebrate it?
2 導(dǎo)入本課時(shí)內(nèi)容。教師最后出示Halloween的圖片,請(qǐng)學(xué)生回憶上一課時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)的有關(guān)該節(jié)日的信息。
Step II 呈現(xiàn)
1 該環(huán)節(jié)中,教師要將萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的慶祝方式以文字形式呈現(xiàn)給學(xué)生。
方式一:圖片呈現(xiàn)。

(1) people who are dressing up and wearing masks
(2) people whose faces are painted
(3) pumpkin lanterns
(4) children who are playing “trick or treat”
(5) a Halloween party
教師說(shuō):Today we will talk about more details about Halloween. Here I have some pictures of this festival. First, let’
5、s look at the big orange one. It is a lantern for us to see clearly at night, and this lantern is made out of a pumpkin. It’s a pumpkin lantern.。呈現(xiàn)過(guò)后教師帶讀生詞pumpkin lantern。
教師繼續(xù)說(shuō):At Halloween, people dress up and wear masks or paint their faces. They try to make themselves different from usual, beca

教師繼續(xù)說(shuō):At Halloween, children’s favourite game is to play “trick or treat”. Have you heard about it? 請(qǐng)知道這個(gè)游戲的學(xué)生描述或演示。教師解釋?zhuān)篊hildren will knock on people’s doors and ask for some candy as a treat. If they do not get the treat,

教師繼續(xù)呈現(xiàn):On the evening of October 31, people will have a party to celebrate the festival. What do you think they will do at the party? 教師對(duì)學(xué)生的回答進(jìn)行總結(jié):People usually have nice food and drinks at parties.
方式二:實(shí)物及實(shí)景呈現(xiàn)。
教師可以在課前請(qǐng)
8、幾位學(xué)生準(zhǔn)備一個(gè)實(shí)物南瓜燈,一到兩件萬(wàn)圣節(jié)服裝和面具,另請(qǐng)兩到三位學(xué)生準(zhǔn)備一個(gè)“不款待就搗亂”的活動(dòng)。
方式三:視頻呈現(xiàn)。
2 完成B1部分的練習(xí),對(duì)萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的活動(dòng)進(jìn)行歸納總結(jié)。教師先以口頭提問(wèn)的方式將萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的慶祝方式進(jìn)行歸納,然后說(shuō):Here are the notes about Halloween on page 59. Please try to complete them. 學(xué)生完成后,用實(shí)物投影儀將一名學(xué)生的答案投影給全體學(xué)生,進(jìn)行答案講解核對(duì)。
3 呈現(xiàn)閱讀主課文。教師說(shuō):Millie’s pen friend Wendy lives in the USA. She writ
9、es a letter to Millie to tell her something about Halloween. Now let’s listen to the letter and tell me how Wendy likes Halloween. 教師放錄音,之后請(qǐng)學(xué)生回答問(wèn)題:Wendy likes Halloween best.
Step III 練習(xí)
1 朗讀課文,可采取全班跟錄音朗讀,集體朗讀,分組或單獨(dú)朗讀方式。
2 初步理解課文,完成教材B2部分練習(xí)。
3 進(jìn)一步閱讀并理解課文,回答問(wèn)題

教師給學(xué)生三分鐘時(shí)間準(zhǔn)備,把下列提示詞呈現(xiàn)給學(xué)生。
