Thoughts on the design:
本課是在以本單元前階段學(xué)習(xí)中所涉及到的世界未解之謎為背景知識(shí)和鋪墊,以喜馬拉雅山上的野人為主題繼續(xù)深化本單元的主題,與此同時(shí),使學(xué)生由了解學(xué)習(xí)過渡為圍繞世界之謎主題撰寫奇妙故事,因此,若要自然且較高質(zhì)量地完成此任務(wù),本課的第一階段則涉及對(duì)前部分的相關(guān)內(nèi)容進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)要復(fù)習(xí),進(jìn)而引出雪人話題。分析結(jié)構(gòu)和內(nèi)容是本課的第一重點(diǎn),通過系列問題分別來提高學(xué)生泛讀和精讀的能力。親自撰寫故事的目的是讓學(xué)生學(xué)以致用并提高寫作和聽說能力,其準(zhǔn)備階段是本課的第二重點(diǎn),本課的設(shè)計(jì)中包含了對(duì)該環(huán)節(jié)的一些
2、表格提示,以適當(dāng)減輕難度并使學(xué)生思路清晰。本課充分體現(xiàn)課堂“以學(xué)生為中心”的思想。
Teaching aims:
After learning the text, the students will be able to improve integrating skills including reading and writing. Question-and-answer activity aims to help the students understand the passage better. Pair work and group work are designed to m

用愛因斯坦關(guān)于本課主題的一句名言作為本課的開篇,簡(jiǎn)潔干練,具有一定深度和說服力,且對(duì)于學(xué)生來說有吸引力,自然過渡到本單元前階段所涉及到的話題,進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)要復(fù)習(xí)。
2. Picture presentation
Ask the students to review former lessons about UFOs, the Great Pyramids, Stonehenge and the Loch Ness Monster.
通過圖片提示進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)要復(fù)習(xí),并把學(xué)生的思維帶入本單元的“世界之謎”主題,

3. A brief introduction to Yetis and teh Wild Man of Shennongjia
在學(xué)習(xí)文章之前,向?qū)W生介紹一些關(guān)于野人的背景知識(shí),如果是用自己班級(jí)上課,可以提前布置學(xué)生在課下就感興趣的相關(guān)話題,搜集資料,在課堂上的本環(huán)節(jié)中分享和介紹。
