After a while, you can focus on your work easily. Here are some other ways for you to have a try. Do five more minutes. When you think you can’t work anymore, just do five more minutes. You can stretch your attention span by pushing your limits a little bit at a time. One “Think” a time. Stop juggling lots of things in your hand. Instead, set a time for thinking about a single task. For example, tell yourself, “I’ll think about nothing but my task from 5:00 to 5:30.” Do things immediately. Sometimes we don’t feel like concentrating, so we put off work. Just ask yourself, “Will it get easier later?” and then you’ll probably want to get it over with. Use your hands as blinkers. Try keying things “out of sight, out of mind”. Cup your hands and focus only on what you are reading. See as if for the first time. Look at each moment like it is the first or last time you’ll see or experience it. By fully concentrating on the present, you won’t miss a thing! Concentration can help you get ahead in life.
