You could help coach a football team.2. 能力目標(biāo):1)能運用所掌握的語法、句型和詞匯進(jìn)行交流。2)能運用語言和語法知識進(jìn)行閱讀并理解文章意思。3. 情感態(tài)度如果學(xué)校開展志愿者活動,能積極參加,做一些力所能及的事情。教學(xué)重點1Target language 2The structure: 教學(xué)難點:The structure: 教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備:tape recorder pictures教學(xué)方法:情景操練,反復(fù)使用,師生互動,生生互動。教學(xué)過程:第一課時Teaching of new lesson1. 展示幾張需要幫助的人或事的圖片(如:sick people, homeless children, dirty park, hunger)T: Do you like these picture.S: No, they make me sad. T: What can you see in the picture ?S: There are some people who need help.T: Can you tell me something about the picture ?S: The children are very poor, they dont have money to go to school2. Presentation 教學(xué)What can you do to help sick people? I could visit them in the hospital. Id like to buy them some flowers. For example: What can you do to help sick people?S:I could visit them in the hospital.S: Id like to buy them some flowers.S: I hope to cheer them up.S: I volunteer to (讓學(xué)生給出不同的回答,強(qiáng)調(diào)Id like to, hope to, volunteer to, could和其它動詞的搭配。)3、教學(xué) 操練1a, 1c, 2c.讓學(xué)生根據(jù)圖片內(nèi)容對話,引出volunteer, work outside, cheer up, help sb. with sth., give out, clean up, in the hospital, 并用剛剛學(xué)到的目標(biāo)句型操練。4、教學(xué)1b, 2a, 2b首先,幫助學(xué)生明確本題的要求。接著,聽力練習(xí),學(xué)生根據(jù)錄音內(nèi)容完成1b,2a and 2b。最后,重放一遍錄音內(nèi)容,學(xué)生跟讀。(學(xué)生通過聽力練習(xí),進(jìn)一步熟悉本課的目標(biāo)語言)5、Consolidation and Extension.完成一個任務(wù)假設(shè)你有一個朋友周末生日,他打算在家開個生日舞會。他現(xiàn)在有很多事情忙不過來,你能給他提供什么幫助?A: This weekend Ill have a birthday party at my home, I have so many things to do, can you help me?B: Ok, I could A: Id like to Homework 1、下周你們班將去老人院,去哪里什么可以做的,羅列45點2、翻譯下列短語。打掃 張貼 去醫(yī)院看望生病的小孩在外面工作 提供幫助 推遲 分發(fā) 無家可歸的人板書(略)教學(xué)反思: 學(xué)生在討論提供幫助的方式時表述比較困難,可以借助圖片以及簡要短語提示,效果會更好一些。通過課件的的使用,大大提高了教學(xué)效率,學(xué)生也積極參加課堂活動。第2課時Teaching of new lesson1. Ask the students to work in pairs using the target language.1) A: Would you like to work outside?B: Yes, Id like to help clean up the city parks.2) A: Would you like to help homeless people?B: yes. Id like to give out food at a food bank.3) A: Would you like to cheer up sick kids?B: yes, Id like to visit then in the hospital.4) A: Would you like to help kids with their school work ? B: Yes. Id like to volunteer in an after-school study program.2、教學(xué)3a1) 進(jìn)入本課話題T: There three special students in No.77 High School, do you want to know them?(展示書上圖片,讓學(xué)生自由提問,來激發(fā)他們對新加坡的興趣) S: Are they good ?What are they good at ? 2) 閱讀理解短文,設(shè)法找出學(xué)生提出的問題的答案。T: Read the article and circle the things you like, and underline the things you dont like.當(dāng)學(xué)生進(jìn)行閱讀時,老師列出以下表達(dá):spenddoing, set up, each of, put off, cheer up3. 教學(xué) 操練3bGroup work仿照書上的示范,用書上的提示讓他們集體討論解決方法。先由學(xué)生小組討論,由兩三組同學(xué)起來表演他們的對話。4、Consolidation and Extension完成一個任務(wù):Group work: A surveyT: Dear classmates, in your city there are many people who need our help. What are you good at? What can we do for them? Now please make a list of things that you like are you can do for them. Presentation教學(xué)1在造句的基礎(chǔ)上,能進(jìn)一步用英文解釋以上短語:run out of = dont have any of fix up = repair take after = be similar to教學(xué)2a, 2b.1) 首先,聽力前的brainstorm.First, Let students describe the pictures of 2a.2) T: Jimmy is a bike boy. If you want to know more about him, please listen to the tape carefully and check the questions customers ask then listen again, and fill in the blanks.3) Check the answers通過聽電話,學(xué)習(xí)辨別信息,選擇內(nèi)容并完成填空,學(xué)生通過聽力練習(xí),進(jìn)一步熟悉本課的目標(biāo)語言。最后,重放一遍錄音內(nèi)容,學(xué)生跟讀。4) 2c Pairwork根據(jù)聽力的對話內(nèi)容,首先理解對話,模仿對話。5) 表演對話(Act out)叫部分同學(xué)演示其對話內(nèi)容。3、教學(xué)閱讀3aT: Just now we knew something about Jimmy.
