His“seconddifferenceengine”couldn’tuseelectricitysincethishadn’tyetbecomeausablesourceofpower,soBabbagehadtomakedowithmechanicalsystems.Forthisreason,themachinewasbig,complicatedandexpensive.ThoughBabbageproducedcompleteplansforthemachine,hecouldn’tbuildit.Itwastooadvancedforitsage!
