Something about students: 該班為六年級023的學(xué)生，全班有53人。學(xué)生對中西方的節(jié)日平時有一些簡單的了解，只是沒有進(jìn)行過系統(tǒng)的學(xué)習(xí)。Thanksgiving是一個新授內(nèi)容，只有及個別成績優(yōu)秀的學(xué)生了解。
Teaching process:
Step 1: Revision

2. Divide groups: four groups, who can run fast?

Are you interested in festivals? At first, I’ll give you some pictures, guess: What festival?

Step2: Presentation
CAI4: 一張有關(guān)于感恩節(jié)的圖片。
1. Learn words: Thanksgiving , important.
2． T: Can you tell me what’s this? It’s a turkey. Yes, It’s Thanksgiving .It’s an American festival. It’s very important.
2． T: When is it? Guess, Is it in spring, summer or Autumn?
CAI5: 顯示十一月的臺歷表。Look, It’s in November.
4. T: What happens?
CAI 6: Families are together.
CAI7: We have a big, special dinner.
CAI8: We say thank you for all the good things we have.
CAI 9: We have lots of fun.
通過每張圖片的出現(xiàn)，對它們進(jìn)行簡單的描敘，并練習(xí)句子及打橫線的重點(diǎn)單詞。
5. Teacher and students retell what happens on thanksgiving together.
Step 3: Practice
1. Listen to the tape, Answer a question.

2. Open your English book, Listen again, and read after the tape. Then finish exercises on your paper.

3. Check the answers, and read together.
Step 4: consolidation and extension
1. Across CAI, give Ss some beautiful and interesting pictures about Teachers’ Day, Children’s Day, Christmas and Halloween. Talk about them.
2. Each group is a festival .Teacher gives some sentences to each groups, Ask them to read them loudly. Then choose sentences about your festival, stick them on your paperboard. At last, get ready for the performance.
3. Show your performance.
4. Which group is the winner.
5. 教后反思：
一直希望能突破四個單詞加一個句型的教學(xué)模式，進(jìn)行對話或語篇教學(xué)，這節(jié)課應(yīng)該可以算是第一次嘗試，自己整體感覺還是不錯。最讓我高興的是如下幾點(diǎn)：
1． 本節(jié)課內(nèi)容含量較大，而且教學(xué)效果好。有六個長單詞，比較長的一段對話，還有補(bǔ)充了不少其他節(jié)日的知識。
2． 將單詞放在句子中教學(xué)，聯(lián)系生活說英語。學(xué)生說的開心，很有成就感，有些句子還對學(xué)生有思想教育意義。如：Miss Li is important in our class. I am important. We are all special.
3． 課堂中有歌曲《We wish you merry Christmas》, 《The more we get together》，《感恩的心》等. 歌聲陣陣，顯得非常生動。
4． 最后一個環(huán)節(jié)中讓學(xué)生通過CAI漂亮直觀的圖片，描敘各個節(jié)日，再選出與本組節(jié)日有關(guān)的句子貼在事先準(zhǔn)備好的背景板上，在進(jìn)行表演。學(xué)生看了，讀了，動手了，表演了，每個人都參與了這項(xiàng)活動，而且表演的非常的出色。這培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生團(tuán)結(jié)合作．動手和表演能力．
5． 本節(jié)課使用了多媒體課件，圖片生動形象，雖然制作簡單，卻恰到好處，為本節(jié)課增添了一份靚麗．我們應(yīng)該還是盡最大努力多使用課件，提高自己的水平．
但是本堂課在最后的小組評價(jià)中，我做了很不應(yīng)該的事．四個小組確實(shí)都表現(xiàn)非常不錯，我因?yàn)槭孪葴?zhǔn)備給學(xué)生分一個一二三四等獎，所以硬生生的只給了四組一個第一名，他們歡呼雀躍，其他人卻悶悶不樂了．當(dāng)我說Who is the winner? Group 4時，有同學(xué)在小聲說ＮＯ．如果我能每組都評個優(yōu)秀，所有人都會happy,在感恩的心這優(yōu)美的旋律中結(jié)束，在同學(xué)們的歡呼聲中結(jié)束，在聽課老師的掌聲中結(jié)束，何樂而不為呢？
