歸納besides, except, but的用法:
①三者均可表示“_________________”;
② besides 表示一種累加關(guān)系,意指“除了提到的事物之外,還包含其他的;
③ except 或 but 則表示一種排除關(guān)系,意指“不把提到的事物算在內(nèi),從整體中除掉”。
但except 與but在用法上還是略有區(qū)別:
but “除…之外”(整體中除去)常與有否定意義的詞連用,但如果but 之前的部分出現(xiàn)實義動詞do 的任何一種形式,則用 but+V原 。仔細研讀下面例句:
