5、 Grammar Focus 一、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞后面 + 動(dòng)詞原形 1、I can play / played basketball. 2、I need buy / bought a computer. 二、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞沒有人稱和數(shù)的變化 1、She can / cans ride a horse. 2、Amy need / needs buy a book. 三、否定式構(gòu)成是在情態(tài)動(dòng)詞后面加 "not" I can not play basketball 試比較 :can’t may not mustn’t Ss:You may not smoke he
6、re.(不可以) 語(yǔ)氣輕 You can’t smoke here.(不能) 語(yǔ)氣重 You mustn’t smoke here.(決不可以) 語(yǔ)氣最重 讓學(xué)生對(duì)情態(tài)動(dòng)詞有個(gè)大概的了解,從而為下面的學(xué)習(xí)做好鋪墊。 Step4 情 態(tài) 動(dòng) 詞 must can need 等 的 用 法 一、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞:must 1、表示主觀的“必須” 2、在否定中表“不許;禁止 3、表示堅(jiān)定的建議 . 4、關(guān)于must的簡(jiǎn)短回答 —Must I clean the
7、dining room at once? —Yes, you must. / No, you don't have to /needn't. 二、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞:need 1、作情態(tài)動(dòng)詞 意思是“需要”,通常用在否定句或疑問(wèn)句中。 2、做行為動(dòng)詞 need to do sth.意思是“需要做某事”。 三、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞:can 1、表示能力、許可 2、表示請(qǐng)求或提供幫助 3、表示“不能、不允許”、“不會(huì)” Ss:We must go home before six. Ss:We mustn't talk like that. Ss:We must come
8、 and see us as soon as you get to school. Ss:Summary. ▲在回答must 開頭的疑問(wèn)句時(shí),肯定形式用must,否定形式用needn't或don't have to。 —Must I do any cleaning? —No, you needn't. / No, you don't have to. —Yes, you must. Ss:You needn't get up so early. Ss:You need to take a camera with you. ▲need否
9、定形式是在need后直接加not,表示“不需要”,疑問(wèn)形式是把need提前至主語(yǔ)前。以need開頭的問(wèn)句,否定回答用needn't,肯定回答用must。 —Need I explain the thing to him? —No, you needn't. / Yes, you must. Ss:She can speak three different languages Ss:—Can I use your telephone please? —Sure. Ss:You can't take it away. I can't speak
