To give an opportunity for students to visualize the location of things. 3. To confirm the vocabulary and expressions they have learned so far. 4. To reinforce the vocabulary of furniture. 5. To practice using some prepositions. 6. To have fun. 二、The important point: Drills: Where are they? They’re under the bed Where is the mouse? It’s in that corner 三、The difficult point: The chair is by/near … the window 四、The course: (一)Revision: Make a dialogue: Where is/are…? It is/they are …. (二)教授新知: 1. Presentation (1) Tell the students to close the books Tell the students to imagine what is going on. Read the dialogue Tell the students to open the book at page54. Tell them to look at the illustration and listen to the dialogue again.(讓學(xué)生打開書,看圖,聽對(duì)話) Tell the class to read the story and draw the mouse/mice (讓學(xué)生讀故事,畫老鼠) Help them form group of 3. Read the dialogue and let the groups mime the story. 2. Presentation (2) Bring a map or globe and ask the students where Japan is. If they are not sure, let them know where it is. (看地圖,溫習(xí)所學(xué)的國(guó)家,在地圖中找出來) You may bring more pictures at different bedrooms and ask students what seminaries are between the rooms. Let the students discuss in Chinese in group.
