Maybe you can visit your cousin . (二)情感態(tài)度目標(biāo)： 簡(jiǎn)單了解中國(guó)、美國(guó)各大主要城市在國(guó)家領(lǐng)土內(nèi)的地理位置。培養(yǎng)學(xué)生熱愛(ài)祖國(guó)，熱愛(ài)家鄉(xiāng)的思想感情，并初步建立與其他英美國(guó)家建立良好邦交關(guān)系，待人友善的意識(shí)。 三、 教材分析 本課是新標(biāo)準(zhǔn)英語(yǔ)第八冊(cè)第八模塊的第一單元 New York is in the east.主要教授的內(nèi)容是第八模塊第一單元的單詞，句型和課文。本課的重點(diǎn)內(nèi)容是方位的表達(dá)方法。重點(diǎn)單詞有：east, west, south, north, The US, country, cousin. 另外有兩個(gè)城市New York和Los Angeles也比較重要。重點(diǎn)句型為in the…of, 表達(dá)一定范圍內(nèi)部的方位，比如，Qingdao is in the east of China. 課文圍繞一副美國(guó)地圖展開(kāi)討論，大明和薩姆討論了大明的堂兄居住的地方，并希望能夠有一天去美國(guó)參觀(guān)。 教學(xué)重點(diǎn)及難點(diǎn) 重點(diǎn) ： east , west, north, south, where He lives in the east of the US .
